Why remodel?

Will you “Beat Any Written Estimates?”
At Happ’s Kitchen & Bath, we do not believe that this is a suitable way to choose a remodeling professional for your home. We value ourselves with our customer service and quality workmanship, as well as warranty our work and products. We discuss our estimate and your budget right up front since we believe that is the respectful way to conduct business. The more honest we can be with you, the more you know you can trust our integrity to deliver what we say we will at the price you are comfortable with. Therefore, our huge range of products can fit nearly any budget.

 

We are always competitive in our pricing. There are some remodelers that are willing to match or “beat” our prices; and in many cases, once the project begins, there could be hidden additional charges or they will supply you with less quality materials. Once we quote you a price, we stand by it. Your price does not grow during the job.

 

At Happ’s Kitchen & Bath we are very sensitive to our customers and their needs. We will always present choices to you about how to optimize  your budget for your project. What you choose to spend is up to you, and we will do everything we can to assist you in making informed decisions for a quality and affordable renovation. 

How long will the job take?
For the most part, our bath remodels are completed within three weeks and kitchens are completed in three to six weeks. This timeframe can vary depending on the scope of your project.

 

Do I have to be home?
That’s up to you. We prefer you to be at home on the first day we begin the renovation. We like for you to meet our uniformed installation team, and go over any house rules, i.e., pets, entrance keys, etc. Other than that, you can come and go as you please.   Happ’s Kitchen and Bath is fully insured, bonded, and licensed with the state of New Jersey. Our installation team members are courteous, clean and professional. They arrive and leave on time, and maintain a neat working environment. They are respectful of your family and home.

How do I pay?
We accept cash and checks, and credit cards for deposits only. When you sign a contract with Happ’s Kitchen & Bath, we request a 20 percent deposit. Prior to the start of your renovation, you will be provided with a payment schedule. Your final payment is paid at the end of the project. Once the renovation begins, our installation team will be there from installation to completion.

 

How Long Will I be without water?
Water is only off for about 3 or 4 hours on the first day. We never leave you without water overnight. 

 

What happens if you find unforeseen damage?
It is our responsibility to recognize all problems before we begin. If we discover a problem during the project that we may have missed on our initial home visit, we offer suggestions to correct the problem with minimal delay and minimal additional cost. 

 

Are you insured?
Yes. We carry worker’s compensation with up to a million dollar coverage, general liability and we are fully licensed by the State of New Jersey, Division of Consumer Affairs. Please, don’t just take our word for it, please go the the Consumer Affairs’ website for verification.

What neighborhoods do you do work in?
We remodel kitchens and bathrooms within a 30 mile radius of Sparta, New Jersey.

 

How long have you been in business?
Tom Clark has been in this business since 1979. Happs has been his business since 1996.  TIm Karl, likewise, has been in this business for many years.  Our hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Evening hours are by appointments.
